We have settled well into our class. We love our independent work/activity stations as well as coming together for group work! What a fantastic start to the year.

Look at all the numeracy activities we have completed! We have measured ourselves using blocks and ordered our class from tallest to smallest. We use play dough to help with number formations and 10 frames as well as making block towers to make sets to 20. 

Our topic this term is dinosaurs. We made some dinosaur footprints then made prints of our own feet and compared the sizes!

Our group speech therapy sessions with Caroline is one of our favourite times of the week!

During literacy we have been listening to and sequencing stories. We loved the sensory story sack of the three little pigs followed by going to the Forest area to make houses the wolf could not blow down! We are always practicing our high-frequency words in fun ways; writing them in playdough and rice. We really loved playing CVC bingo too!
